Signs You Need This Service

If any of these sound familiar, your pool's gel coat has likely reached the end of its life.

  • The surface feels rough or gritty underfoot, especially on the steps and benches.
  • The colour has faded, chalked, or gone patchy instead of a smooth, even finish.
  • You're noticing small blisters or bubbling in the surface — this is osmosis, water trapped under the gel coat.
  • Hairline cracks are appearing along the shell, even if the pool still holds water fine.

What a Fresh Fiberglass Finish Actually Fixes

These are the most common signs a fibreglass pool surface has reached the end of its life — and exactly what a proper resurface resolves.

How Fiberglass Resurfacing Works

  1. Assess

We evaluate the condition of your pool surface — identifying damage, wear and what the job actually requires to achieve a finish that stands up for decades.

  2. Prep

Preparation is where most resurface jobs succeed or fail. We sand, clean and prime the surface thoroughly — because a great finish starts long before the coat goes on.

  3. Resurface

We apply the fibreglass coat using materials chosen specifically for WA conditions — built to bond properly and hold up against sun, salt and chlorine.

  4. Cure & Fill

The coat needs time to cure before the pool is filled. We walk you through exactly what to expect and when your pool will be ready to use again.
